Is there live on Mars

Comment?

By Henk ter Heide

Sci-fi paintings by David Long and Mike Posis and abstract paintings by Caleb Miles.

David’s sketchbook
David’s sketchbook has me thinking back about the picture on the covers of the sci-fi books I used to read in my teens. Those pictures of strange and far away places that made me long for a journey I could never undertake.

Caleb Miles abstract paintings
“Bold” is the first word that comes to mind while watching Caleb Miles paintings.
In my own abstract drawings I always try to depict something. It might not be obvious to the audience but there is. But with Caleb Miles’ paintings I have the impression that he just boldly put his brush on the paper and paints.

On mars
…on mars is one of the stranger websites I’ve come across. On the site you’ll find a series of drawings that show you the Martian (and Sartunian) landscape according to Mike Posis.
I won’t say that I like the drawings very much. But they are certainly fascinating in there difference.
