An item in the news just told that there are two types of rfid chips. The cheap one costing about 50 euro cents and the expensive one costing about 8 or 9 euros. The expensive chip is used in passports and the cheap chip in OV-chip cards.

You think thats fun?
Try a rfid proximity card cloner, I can travel on your card-id without you even knowing that I copied it.
-
I happend to notice something else also:
The recharge points can be made to crash by using a piezo electric lighter. (windows 2000 operating systems on them, the stuff that microbucks is not supporting anymore.) A picture proof of a crashed recharge station can be found on dumpert.nl,
If one crashes all the rechargepoints on a station you will create a public transport gridlock ;)
-
I have tested a lot of rfids used for store artikles on the gates, and some make the gates pop open. Drilldown to why some do and some dont gives us some clues that it has to do with the length of the articlenr of the product the rfid was programmed for. Rfid programmers (keycard programmers) can also read the rfid of the OV chipcard. Writing them will be just a matter of little time.
-
The dutch goverment must be totaly xxxxxx (edit by admin) (excuse my language) out of their minds for just trying to put a system like this in a ultra hightech country.
Almost nobody here pays for satelite tv, its easyer to get the tools and knowhow for burning smartcards then getting a gun. Same applies for rfid, it will not take long before we can handle rfid with the same ease as smartcards.
